I have a lifelong meditation-trance practice; it is an integral part of my art, writing and healing. My interest is in creative mindfulness, and I offer classes and workshops to help folks reclaim focus, attention, calm, fortitude and peacefulness.

Recovery Meditation
Join me every Thursday at 9 am for Recovery Meditation. This is a one-hour, free, beginner friendly class open to all ages and experience levels. The focus is calm comfort, regulating the nervous system, and learning basic meditation techniques which can be used outside the class as well.

Recreational Meditation
Join Nettie Saturdays at 10 am from Nov 15-Dec 13 at the Plaza Branch of the KC Public Library for a free five week session into the play of meditation.
This beginner-friendly, one-hour class will guide you through the basics of meditation, into some science and history, and give you first-hand experience in mindfulness. -
Be Held
“Be Held” is a one on one offering of support through physical and emotional movement. We work together through deep listening and investigating how to find and reframe deeply held beliefs that no longer serve us.
Available by appointment for a one hour session. -
Resilient Meditation
A special class of meditation focusing on chronic pain — both emotional and physical. Together, we’ll explore breath, body awareness, and compassionate presence to support resilience, release, and connection in a pain-conscious, inclusive space.
Available by request for one on one or group sessions. -
Deeper Meditations
Nettie offers this intermediate, ritual based, community building session of contemplative practice for the practitioner looking to deepen their meditative life.
